Aw, not many UC Gundam peeps on dA, eh? =( Sad, some of the best stuff's in the UC timeline *sniff*

Yes, the theme today is Emo Pilots In Deep Space. I love Amuro. Hot damn I fell so hard for him in Zeta. Even though he's still whiny to a degree. XD Still complains, still has some of the same insecurities. Oh Amurorin. ♥ Anyway. The angle's all weird, I know, I tried to fix it but I couldn't make it right DX His head's also too big. The rate of recession into space is inconsistent. >A<;

Randomly, I name this "安らぎは何処に", which means like, "where will you find peace/rest". I like angst, this much should be clear by now. Is he looking for Lalah?? Perhaps.

How do you feel about the general anime public's widespread and rabid preference for the newer "bishounen" Gundam series i.e. GWing and GSeed? (I'm personally rather repulsed by the trend.)

I hate it too. WING copied a lot of stuff from 0079, Zeta, ZZ, and Char's Counterattack and tried to repackage it as a new Gundam series.

Plus, Zechs and Relena are rip-offs of Char and Sayla.

Oh it's been commonly acknowledged and agreed upon that Bandai are capitalist bastards who photocopy storylines and characters. They used Wing as new platform from which to push older Gundam elements to a younger audience, and are asses for doing it, but man oh man did it WORK.

Wing's 5-pretty-boys-from-5-colonies thing was ridiculous, but I think at least it had the decency to hold some political content; Seed is just a bonafied sci-fi soap opera held in the middle of war. Kind of like the movie Pearl Harbor. And it was such a rip-off of MS Gundam that it was almost a parody.

Sorry, I hadn't meant to unload all that on you ^^; it's just that I haven't talked Gundam in a while, and what with Gundam00 coming out I feel a rejuvenated need to complain XD

Not only did they add FOUR boys. They reversed the whiny-teenager-to-effective-soldier formula!

Zeta!Amuro is very awesome. I'm re-watching it, and I'm halfway through. I must say, though, I think I like Kamille more than Amuro.

I love the colouring in this, pose and everything! I'm so pleased to see more fanart of this series, it was the best of all the gundam series, but seems to not have reached the current generation sadly. You did great on the style though! Amazing!! :D I adore the expression, and his eyes!!~ :heart:
