Yes, I know. Old series is oooold. But I never did finish it 4 years ago, and in the past week I finally rewatched it in its entirety. My heart was torn to shreds, but that's what I like most about an anime series.
I did in fact draw this right after I finished the last few eps, to nurse my broken heart. While I'm pretty proud of the challenging angle/perspective I chose, if you pay attention none of them are standing on the same plane at the same angle SO DON'T PAY ATTENTION. Also the colors looked kinda bad for a long time, until I added in the layers for the ground/shadows/rain. Thank god cuz I was about to get miffed that my coloring wasn't helping my lineart, which I like a lot. Oh, and since I'm too dumb/lazy to shoop it I hand-drew the brick tile pattern ahahaha I so competent .__.
You drew them perfectly well. I really like the perspective here, how it still looks right, proportioning and all--I can never do that. The coloring's great too (is it weird that I like the brown background so much?? D: ).
This is one of my favorite series and I'm really happy to see how you were able to illustrate them as they were in the series. Absolute +fav.

I love this anime. the story, the music, the sadness, the way it makes me cry. Lovely piece of art. This is a really difficult angle but you did very well

Coda ~ some things never change...
And Toboe, too, with his I-like-to-catch-rain thing going on. He was always my favorite character.

We're all mad here.
I am the Milkman. My milk is delicious.
Why yes, I am Voldemort's Sparkly Cloak.
Dude, I still think it looks fantastic. Now I wanna go re-read the manga or rewatch the anime... or something.

Damon: What's so special about this Bella girl? Edward's so whipped!
Caroline: You've gotta read the first book first. It won't make sense if you don't. How come you don't sparkle?
Damon: Cause I live in the real world where Vampires burn in the sun.
This is beautiful.
I don't care if the angles aren't right, this is a very aesthetic drawing.
