Gomen ne haku-chaaan~ Looks like lee-chan beat you to it. ^^;; This started out as just a fast simple lee pencil sketch but i thought it looked nice so i attempted to colour it. And i screwed up, as usual. c_c;; The background looks crappy... x_X And i pray i don't get critisized for screwed lighting again. *foams at the mouth* Anyways, yeah, 1st ever fanart of rock lee from naruto ^^ He's persevering, dedicated, powerful and oh so kawaii. ^0^ Go lee-chan!!

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The hands are much gorgeous! Especially the one stretched towards us. X3 And yes, the pose is very Lee, he looks all serious and stuff X33

I got more flavor than fruit stripe gum!
Foreshortening is good - the left hand really looks like it's "in yo' face" - and really good detail on the bandages and the proportions.
The color tones are really good and consistent.
